A positive number is 5 time another number. If 21 is added to both the numbers, then one of the new numbers become twice of other new numbers. Find the original numbers.

Let the number be=x Let the second Number be =5x 2(2x+21)=5x+21 2x+42=5x+21 42-21=5x-2x 21=3x x=21/3 x=7

Answer-let the another no be x Then the positive no is 5 times =5x According to the question x+21 is another no 5x+21 is positive no so, 5x+21=(x+21)2 =5x+21=2x+42 =5x-2x=42-21 =3x=21 =x=21/3=7 positive =5multiply by 7=35
