The method of watering the crops at regular intervals is called irrigation. The two methods of irrigation are:- Sprinkler system- it has an arrangement of vertical pipes with rotating nozzles. It is more useful in sandy and uneven areas where there is insufficient water. Drip system- water falls drop by drop directly near the roots of plants. That's why it's called drip system.
