GMO are the organisms whose genetic composition has be altered by manipulation so that to perfom a desired fuction. Genetically Modified plants are beneficial as: 1. They are more tolerant. Can tolerate harsh conditions like, draught. 2. They are more nutritious. 3. They avoid the use of fertilizes i.e prevents the fertility of the soil. 4. Requires less attention.
