No. of students =24 No. of sweets each gets =5 therefore, total no. of sweets 24×5=120 the no. of children when 4 is gone =24−4=20 Hence,each child will get 120/20​=6sweets

If there are 24 children's = 5sweets each If there are 24-4=20 children's = x sweets each Indirect proportion x = 24/20×5 x = 6 sweets each
