the side of square = 60 The breadth of rectangle =80 Length of rectangle =? Perimeter of square =4×Side 4×60 240 A.T.O The perimeter of square = the perimeter of rectangle So, the perimeter of rectangle=240 Perimeter of rectangle =2(L+B) 240/2= L+80 120 =L+80 120-80=L 40=L Area of square equals = side × side 60×60 3600 Area of rectangle = length × breadth 40×80 3200 Square field has larger area
