Laboratory thermometer is use to measure temperature of liquid substance ( such as - water , chemical, etc . ) Laboratory thermometer range is from -10⁰C to 100⁰C Laboratory thermometer doesn't have kink, that is why mercury flow down quickly, as soon as thermometer is removed from the substance. Clinical thermometer is use of measure temperature of our ( human ) body. Clinical thermometer range is from 35⁰C to 42⁰C Clinical Thermometer have kink which prevents mercury to flow down quickly .
