Actually when a electrons revolving in a definite orbit its radiate its energy suppose a electron is at M shell it revolves then it radiate energy it fall down to L shell then K shell at the last of it unit of its energy losses uis falls to the nucleus of the atom and this become negligible. THANK YOU FOR A GOOD QUESTION
