Acute Disease :- 1. They are short duration diseases. 2. Patient recovers completely after the care. 3. There is no loss of weight or feeling of tiredness afterward. 4. There is short duration loss of work and effiency. Chronic Disease :- 1. They are long lasting Disease. 2. Patient does not recover completely. 3. There is after loss of weight of feeling of tiredness. 4. There is a prolonged loss for work and effiency.

Diseases which remain for short period of time is called acute diseases eg- cold. Disease which remain long span of time is called chronic diseases eg- cancer tuberculosis...

Diseases that occur suddenly and last for few days are known as acute diseases.for example - cold ; Diseases that occur over a period of time and stay longer in our body , may be for life time are called chronic disease.for example - Cancer, Asthma,etc
