This statement holds true you in the story ' The Summer of the Beautiful White Horse'. The two boys had the horse with them when they were spotted by the farmer John Byro. The farmer at once understood that it was his horse, but since he knew that the boys belong to a tribe famous for its honesty and loyalty, he denied the fact that the boys were riding his horse. Instead, he took it to be the twin of his own horse. Thus, the author makes the above statement.
