One of the major programme started by government to eradicate poverty is Mahatma Gandhi National Rural employment Guarantee Act 2005 which provide promised 100 days wage employment to all the unemployed rural persons who wants a basic employment beside MNRega there are few policies other than this policy h is like Annapurna scheme , Indira Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri gramodaya Yojana swarnajayanti swarojgar Yojana etc
