Please make me explain that if hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) reacts to form water (H2O) then why 2 is along with H since we know that valency of h is 1?

Water which is H2O, two atoms of hydrogen combine with one atom of oxygen. The valency of oxygen is 2, because it needs two atoms of hydrogen to form water.

Because the valency of O is 2 and by cross multiplication : ELEMENT= H O VALENCY= 1 2 COMPOUND = H2O
