    History and geography are closely related to each other because these two subject are concerned with time and space respectively . According to Hartshorne description according to' time ' is history , that according to 'space ' is geography. Development of any region has its roots in the past . Thus history provide a background for geography . Wooldrige and east have rightly said that geographers and historians know it very well that their fields of study are interrelated and have to borrow from each other . They have further emphasised that " geography is in fact inseperable from which created it " . Geography provides the stage on which drama of history is enacted .
