Because Dr.Kemp is a law abiding person and he sends a message to Colonel Adye to catch Griffin.Because Griffin is a dangerous person for everyone.And Colonel Adye comes to Dr.Kemp house to catch Griffin after getting message.But Mr.Griffin comes to know that Colonel Adye has come to catch him but he runs away from Kemp's house.Therefore he understands Dr.Kemp is his enemy.
