Area of cross section of river = 10×100 =1000sqm

Volume of water flow in 1 hour = Area of cross section ×Speed of water flow

V=1000× 4.5 km/h

V= 1000 ×4.5 ×5/18 m/sec

V=1250 m^3

1m ^3 =1000 liter

1250 m^3 = 1000×1250= 1250000 liter in 1 sec
