A road roller takes 800 complete revolutions to move once over to level a road . Find the area of the road if the diameter of the road roller is 98 cm and length is 1 m.

1 m = 100 cm.
Circumference of Roller = pie × Diameter.
= 22/7 × 98
= 22 × 14
= 308cm.
Length of road = 800 × 308
= 246, 400cm.
Width of Roller = length of roller = 100cm.
Therefore ,
Area of road = l × b
= 246400 × 100
= 24640000 cm2.
=2464 m2.
