Stress, from a biological perspective, is defined as a reaction to change or a process of responding to any kind of perceived threat.
Usually, stress stimulates the release of hormones such as adrenaline, cortisol and noradrenaline, which in turn, induces several changes in the body that prepare it for fight or flight situations.
