An auditorium is of length 20 m , breadth 14 m and height 6 m. If a person requires 7 m cube of air, find the number of persons that can be accommodated in the room.

Given that hall of Length = 20 m, Breadth = 14 m, Height = 6 m.

∴Volume of the hall = length × breadth × height

= 20 × 14 × 6

= 1680 m3

Volume occupied by 1 man = 7m3

Therefore, number of men that can be accommodated = 1680 /7 = 240.
