Time taken by A to complete a work = x days
Time taken by B to complete the same work = 2x days
According to the question,
1/ x + 1/ 2x=1/12
=> 3/2x=1/12
x=3×12/ 2
Time taken by B to complete the same work = 2x=2×18 =36days
