Q u e s t i o n: Last year the bus fare was RS 50. this year is RS 60.find the increase percentage.
A n s w e r :
Cost of bus fair last year = Rs 50
Cost of bus fair this year = Rs 60
Differnce = Rs 10
Percentage increased = 10/50 × 100
= 20%
therefor inceased percentage = 20 %
