Rohan was a hardworking boy. He wanted to become a doctor. His family condition was not good.
His mother was a general store worker, and his father had a small piece of land which he was struggling to keep. His brother was struggling to get a good college admission, and his sister couldn't find a suitable groom. His wish to become a doctor was neglected by his family, knowing it was ridiculous to wish for things they could not afford. A proper college education to become a doctor was a distant dream for Rohan. For his 15th birthday, his father brought him a cheap second hand laptop he had managed to buy from the small amount of money he made, adjoined with the money from the moneylenders. Rohan was euphoric that day, claiming it as the best day of his life, as he remembered the days and nights he had wished to have a laptop.
He still thought about becoming a doctor, but always ended up with shaking his head with a small scoff, knowing it was nearly impossible. The general store her mother worked in was shutting down soon, and half the income his family made will to along with it. He knew he had to find a job. So the next day, Rohan set out to find a job. He began working as a shopkeeper in one of the stalls in his village, and he made a fair amount. He worked for 6 hours, and got Hundred rupees per hour. On his days off. he helped his father in his farm. But his heart ached to be a doctor. He wanted to help people. But he knew, that being a doctor was not an easy task; it required skill, years of training, and a lot of money. So he began saving up. He bought one of those cheap plastic money banks, and added the money he made daily. By the end of the year, he had made over 50,000 rupees. Rohan was a very hardworking boy. He worked and worked until he had enough money for a proper education. He bought his family a proper house, proper clothes, proper jobs, but still continued to work in that store. Rohan is the perfect example of a rags to riches story. Someday, maybe he will become a doctor.
