Circulator is used to transmit the incident wave which entry from any port of its body to the next port, according to a certain direction confirmed by Static bias magnetic field. When a termination resistor is connected to the circulator, it will become an isolator. Generally, since there is an expression of making the circulator function as an isolator, sometimes the isolator and circulator can create confusion.
