p⁴ – (p + q)4

= (p²)² – [(p + q)²]²

=[p² - (p+q)²][p² + (p+q)²]

= {[p -(p+q)][p +(p+q)]}[p² + p² + q²+ 2pq]

= {[p -p- q)][p +p+q]}[2p² + q²+ 2pq]

= { - q)[2p+q]}[2p² + q²+ 2pq]
