No Devil...I also don't have notes of this chapter...ya this chapter and Evan's tries an o level test are really very confusing...mujhe ye chapter abhi tk samaj nhi aae indigo to fir bhi kuch kuch samaj aata h pr Evan's wala to bilkul upper se gya h mere??..

The followers of Gandhiji wanted the Englishman Mr. Andrews to stay back in Champaran and help them with their cause. But Gandhiji refused, saying that Indians must fight for their cause themselves. They must not rely upon other Englishmen and use them as props. Thus, he taught his followers a lesson in self-reliance.
