Cookies are are usually small text files given ID tags that are a stored on your computers browser directory of program data subfolders. Cookies are created when you use your browser to visit a website that uses cookies to keep track of your movements with in the site, help you resume where you left off remember your registered login, them selection, prefences, and other customization function.

No matter what it’s called, a computer cookie consists of information. When you visit a website, the website sends the cookie to your computer. Your computer stores it in a file located inside your web browser.
