- They used to hear scurrying sounds from the false ceiling in the middle of the night.
- Fruits kept at the dining table would be bitten into, bread slices would be nibbled at and flower pots would be toppled!
- The floor around the dining table would show strange looking, muddy footprints in the morning.
- Mrs Raghav and the children started freaking out, thinking there was a ghost in their new house!
- But, the youngest child, Raj, knew there was no such thing as ghosts.
- He decided to prove his family memebers wrong.
- Without telling anyoe of them, he kept awake one night.
- He hid behind the sofa and waited patiently, munching on peanuts and raisins.
- Around midnight, he heard shuffling sounds from the chimney in the drawing room.
- One by one, a family of four racoons slithered down the chimney into the house, slinked to the dining table and had a feast of fruits and bread.
- Raj was bemused by their intelligence; quietly, he took their picture to show the 'ghosts' to his family!
