When RBC is kept in concentrated solution,RBC will shrink. As the concentration of solute in the solution outside the cell is higher, water moves outside the cytoplasm and the cell membrane shrinks. This process of shrinkage of plasma membrane in presence of concentrated solution is known as plasmolysis .................. I hope it helps!! ?
