निम्नलिखित का भाव स्पष्ट कीजिए-
<hr />दीरघ दोहा अरथ के, आखर थोरे आहिं।
दोहा छंद तो ऐसा होता है जो आकार में छोटा है परन्तु अर्थ बहुत गहरा लिए हुए होता है। उनका गूढ़ अर्थ ही उनकी गागर में सागर भरने की प्रवृत्ति को स्पष्ट कर देता है। ठीक वैसे ही जैसे नट कुंडली को समेटकर कूदकर रस्सी पर चढ़ जाता है।
