The number of levels to be taken into consideration for TOC present are at the table of contents options dialog.
- In a Toc, all the numbers can be altered. The numbers can be deleted and any other number can be placed.
- When custom heading types are used, the numbers may be entered in the Table of Content Options dialog next to these types.
- There can be as many TOCs in the text, and each can have different content. For example, a Brief content TOC can have only the top-level and two other comprehensive TOC's.
