Let kokila's age be x Gopi's age will be 3x After 5 yrs their ages add up to 89 Their present ages -? x+5 + (3x+5)= 89 4x+ 10 = 89 4x= 89-10 4x= 79 x= 79÷4 x= 19.75 Kokila is 19 years and 8 months And Gopi is 3x= 3×19.75 = 59.25 which is 59 years 3 months
