Let ages if them be 4x and 5x according to Question: 4x+8+5x+8 = 5x+6x 9x+16=11x 11x-9x=16 2x=16 x=16/2 x=8 present age of anu = 4x = 4*8 = 32 present age of raj = 5x = 5*8 = 40

4x+8+5x+8 = 5x+6x
9x+16=11x
11x-9x=16
2x=16
x=16/2
x=8
present age of anu = 4x = 4*8 = 32
