Let the other number be x -8x=-12 Use the transpose method X=-12/-8 Cut the negative signs X=12/8 X=6/4=3/2

Product of 2 rational numbers= -12 One of the number= -8 Let the other number be= x Equation forms= x*(-8)=-12 -8x=-12 x=-12/-8 x=3/2 Ans. 3/2is the another rational number in the forming equation. Checking:- 3/2*-8 =-24/2 =-12
