Here is your answer, lets check:- Oil in 1 can = 161/6 = 26 5/6 litres Oil require to hold = 313 1/2 = 627/2 litres Now we convert denominator to 6 by LCM. 627/2 = 1881/6 litres So, no. Of tins required = 1881 / 161 = 11.68..... So we make it round off = 12 Therefore 12 tins are needed to hold 1881/6 litres of oil
