Let the salary be x Increase in salary = 10% 10/100 *x 10x/100 = x+10x/100 = 154000 = x+1x/10=154000 By taking LCM 1x = 10x to make the denominator and numerator same =x+10x/10=154000 =11x/10=154000 =x=154000/11*10 =x=140000/1 x=140000 Original salary of the man is ₹140000
