Data consolidation refers to the collection and integration of data from multiple sources into a single destination. During this process, different data sources are put together, or consolidated, into a single data store. Excel's Consolidate tool allows us to point to a variety of data sets and then aggregate them together into a single summary set based on an aggregation method of our choosing.
