Rearing of sheep means to look after the sheep by providing them food, shelter and health care.
Breeding is done to obtain animals with desired characters . the two individuals of desirable character can be selected as parents. these are then crossed [ made to reproduce ] to obtain new breed of the animals having desirable characters of both parents . this is called selective breeding.
