Let the radius of earth be r The radius of planet x=r Let the mass of earth be M The mass of planet x = 2M g of earth =GM/r^2=9.8m/s^2 g of planet x= G2M/r^2 g of x / g of earth = (G2M/r^2)/(GM/r^2) g of x = 2× g of earth g of x= 2×9.8 =19.6 m/s^2 Hope that it will help
