What is the difference between transcription in prokaryotes and transcription in eukaryotes?

1) In prokaryotes, transcription & translation occur simultaneously whereas, in eukaryotes, transcription & translation doesn't occur simultaneously. 2) Prokaryotic transcription occurs in the cytoplasm whereas, eukaryotic transcription occurs in the nucleus and translation occurs in the cytoplasm. 3) In prokaryotes, RNAs are released & processed in the cytoplasm whereas, in eukaryotes, RNAs are released & processed in the nucleus. 4) In prokaryotes, RNA polymerases are a complex of 5 polypeptides whereas, in eukaryotes, RNA polymerases are a complex of 10-15 polypeptides. 5) Prokaryotes doesn't require any proteins or other factors for the initiation of transcription whereas, eukaryotes requires proteins known as transcription factors for the initiation.
