You can use the 2 equation of motion in that case intial velocity is 0 time is 10 sec and we consider aacelartion is 9.8ms2 now we have to find distance

Let the height be h t=10s a=9.8m/s^2 u=0m/s v=u+at v=0+9.8(10) v= 98 m/s v^2-u^2=2ah 98^2-0^2=2(9.8)(h) (98*98)÷19.6=h h= 490 m
