Inertia is also known as first law of motion

Dwanish Shetty{Ronaldo} 4 years, 1 month ago

His first law states that every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force. This is normally taken as the definition of inertia. ... And if an additional external force is applied, the velocity will change because of the force. Newton's first law says that if the net force on an object is zero ( Σ F = 0 \Sigma F=0 ΣF=0\Sigma, F, equals, 0), then that object will have zero acceleration. ... In other words, constant zero velocity—at rest—or constant non-zero velocity—moving with a constant velocity.
