Let the age of Manjula be x years

Then , the present age of Manjula's mother will be 4x years

After 5 years,

Manjula's age = x +5 years

Her mother's age = 4x + 5 years

A.T.Q.

4x + 5 = 3 ( x + 5 )

Therefore , the present age of Manjula is 10 years .

And , the present age of her mother is 40 years .
