Let the number of deers in the heard =x Half of heard grazing in the field =x/2 Three fourth of the remaining playing nearby= 3/4(x -x/2 ) 3x/4-3x/8 .Now take LCM When we taking LCM we get ; 3x/8 =Drinking water in the field=9 Acc.to questions x-x/2-3x/8=9 Now take LCM When we talking LCM we get; X/8=9 X=8×9 X=72 So; number of deers = x = 72
