We have

0.25(4f – 3) = 0.05(10f – 9)

Let us open the brackets:

f - 0.75 = 0.5f - 0.45

or f - 0.5f = - 0.45 + 0.75

or 0.5f = 0.30

Dividing both sides by 0.5, we get

f = 0.6
