Message is that do the things that can be done that day or in other words we should never think that we will do our any task tomorrow we have plenty of time,we should do it right now because future is unseen people of Alsace thought they will learn their language later but now french language was banned

 “The last lesson” stresses on the importance of education and the necessity to respect and learn one’s own language. This story draws our attention to the unfair practice of linguistic chauvinism. It refers to an unreasonable pride in one’s own language while disregarding all the other languages as inferior. We should respect our mother tongue the people of Alsace did not bother to  learn their mother tongue and now when they are forced to speak German they realise the importance of their language and how precious it is
