1. The chapter 'Discovering Tut : the saga continues' portrays the mysteries surrounding ancient Egyptian life and culture. The chapter is based on a book by the same name and describes the Egyptian culture and traditions practised during King Tut's time. It focuses on the architectural wonders of the Egyptian civilization. It also gives an insight into the process of preserving dead bodies by converting them to mummies. The ancient Egyptians believed in afterlife and preserved the bodies of their kings and buried them with essentials to ease their progress into the afterlife.
2. The chapter 'Discovering Tut : the saga continues' describes the lifestyle of the Egyptian people during King Tut's time and probes into the circumstances of his death. King Tut or Tutankhamen was a young boy when he became the ruler of Egypt. He was the last ruler of a powerful dynasty that had ruled Egypt for centuries. He ruled for nine years and died a mysterious death. The famous king's dead body was preserved as a mummy and buried with gold, precious wares, clothes and everyday essentials in his tomb. He was buried with tremendous amount of wealth and personal possessions to ease his transition into the afterlife.
