Because when the wind come slowly it doesn't break the glasses of windows and not throw books here and there and don't break the door also

Wind is very powerful. If it blows violently, it can cause much destruction. The poet asks the wind to come softly so that no damage is caused. He pleads wind to not break the shutters of the windows, not to throw the books down which are kept on the shelf and not to tear the pages of the books. For these reasons, the poet asks wind to slow down it's speed and to come delicately.
