Atoms having the same atomic mass and different atomic numbers are known as isobars. Ce and Se are isobars having the same atomic mass 76. They have different atomic numbers, i.e., Ce has an atomic number of 32 and Se has an atomic number of 34. Isobars are the atoms of different elements having same atomic mass but a different atomic number. They have the same number of nucleons (protons + neutrons).
