Mitochondria is a cell organelle present in both plant as well as animal cell .... It is known as the power house of the cell whivh produce the energy currency i.e ATP (Adenosine tri phosphate) which is used for various activities inside the cell . Mitochondria is also a special organelle which has its own DNA and protien . So , we can conclude that thjs organelle play very important role in our body as it produce energy used for various life processes and is a prominent organelle .
