X + x + 2 + x + 4 = 24
= 3x + 6 = 24
= 3x = 24-6
= 3x = 18
= x = 18/3
= x = 6

∴ the 3 consecutive even nos. are 6, 6+2=8 and 6+4 = 10
= 6,8 and 10
