In western countries agricultural operations are highly mechanised so it remains a male dominated activity so women migrate to cities in the search of better employment opportunities.So the *** ratio remains favourable for women in the urban areas while it remains favourable for men in rural areas.

80%people in america are city dwellers 3/4. or. 75% peple in europe are residing in urban areas city states like hongkong and singapore have virtually no agricultural land so practically all the population is urban
