Prime factorization is defined as a way of finding the prime factors of a number i.e. the prime numbers which can be multiplied together to get the original number. For example, the prime factors of 126 will be 2, 3 and 7 as 2 × 3 × 7 = 126 and 2, 3, 7 are primes.
